I offer therapeutic coaching for couples and individuals, supporting you to find autonomy in your life, and maturity in your relationships.
I draw on Relational Life Therapy (RLT), embodiment practices, and my own experience of a long term committed partnership to support you out of stuck patterns and into relational health.

How does it work?
Step 1: Seeing the Dynamic
RLT uses loving confrontation to show you the difficult truths about yourself - your unhealthy behaviours and patterns in a direct and compassionate way.
We seek to swiftly get to the root of negative behaviours, understand them, and learn how to choose another route.
Unlike regular couples work, we are not impartial - we say what we see.
Step 2: Trauma Work
Unique to RLT, deep trauma and inner child work is done in the presence of the partner (for couples). This allows individuals to go deeper and couples to grow closer.
We use powerful inner child meditative techniques to befriend the young parts of you that are acting out, and empowers the adult part of you to remain in the driving seat.
Step 3: Relational Skills
RLT equips you with the powerful tools you need to continue building authentic, healthy relationships long after your time in therapeutic coaching is over - the key to creating change that lasts.

Expertise and Experience
I believe that everyone can benefit from this work regardless of how you identify or your relational style. I have experience working with non-monogamous relationships, LGBTQ+ relationships, and couples with interracial backgrounds.
I primarily use the frameworks of Relational Life Therapy (Terry Real). I am also influenced by the work of Esther Perel (Sex and Relationship Therapist and Author), Richard Schwartz (Internal Family Systems Therapy) and Garry Chapman (Love Languages)
I regularly draw on practices and knowledge of: Non-Violent Communication, Neuroscience of Relational Trauma, Authentic Relating, Inner Child Work and Somatic Practice.

How does it work?
Step 1: Locating the Goal
First we identify what it is you truly want. Often our minds have good ideas about what we think we should want, but it is our body and soul that contain the deeper and more fulfilling answers to this question.
I guide clients in visualisations, tuning in with bodily sensations, to access a place of your inner knowing. We always return to this point as our compass to direct the journey.
Step 2: Inner Child Work
Next we use inner child work and parts work to uncover what is holding you back from reaching your desires. Usually this is a young part of us that developed in childhood as a survival strategy. This part is protecting us from being rejected, shamed, or hurt. Clients learn how to love this wounded part, and how to work with the inner managers that hold us back, so that we can choose a new way of living.
Step 3: Commit Through Action
The final step is to set yourself tasks and actions that move you towards your goal. This is where we really commit to change. Through this process you will very likely encounter all your blocks again, and this time you'll have the inner skills required to navigate those blocks and find the agency to choose something new.
